As the name "swell" suggests, it is a small plate with a distorted design. It is useful as a small snack or a side dish. It can also be used as a substitute for a sake cup.

Dry lacquer: Lacquer ware that is made by applying lacquer to linen cloth and applying it in three layers. It is considerably lighter than commonly used wood materials. It can be stored in the refrigerator with the only side dish that is not found in wood lacquer ware.
